ISO 9001:2000

This certification confirms we have achieved the eight principles of quality management that underpin the standard:

1. Customer focus

Customers and their requirements dictate much of our strategy. We understand our customer’s needs and strive to meet or even exceed them.

2. Leadership

Our management team has a clearly communicated vision and constancy of purpose that covers our strategy, direction, environment, and culture.

3. Involvement of people

It is our people who actually provide the frontline customer service, so we ensure that they are encouraged and involved.

4. Process approach

We manage virtually all our business activities and resources through processes that enable greater efficiencies.

5. System approach to management

We view all business activities and inter-related processes as an integrated system, to encourage greater efficiency and effectiveness.

6. Continual improvement

We are continually working to improve quality and performance.

7. Factual approach to decision-making

Any key decisions made about direction or strategy is based on sound data that has been gathered via predetermined business measures.

8. Mutually beneficial supplier relationships

We treat supplier relationships as interdependent partnerships that provide mutual benefits to both sides

Security Industry Authority (SIA)

The SIA exists to manage the licensing of the private security industry as set out in the Private Security Industry Act 2001. They also aim to raise standards of professionalism and skills within the private security industry and to promote and spread best practice.

All our operatives are licensed by the SIA, in accordance with current legislation. We call our own training ‘SIA Plus’, because it exceeds SIA minimum standards, and prefer to recruit operatives from our own qualified students so we can trust them to perform to the high standards we expect: www.diplomainfo.org.uk
